This privacy policy describes how Slow Weave ("we", "our", or "the app") collects, uses, and protects your information.

Information We Collect

Account Information

When you sign in with Apple, we collect:

• Email address - used as your account identifier and to associate you with your goals and communities
• Display name - shown to other community members

User-Generated Content

• Goals - descriptions, progress, and completion status
• Communities - names, membership lists, and streak data

This content is stored in Google Firebase (Firestore) and is visible to other members of your communities.

Crash Reports

We use Firebase Crashlytics to collect crash reports, which include:

• Crash stack traces and error details
• Device operating system version
• App version
• Your email address (to help us identify and resolve issues affecting your account)

Local Notifications

The app may schedule local reminder notifications on your device. These are processed entirely on-device and no notification data is sent to us.

Information We Do Not Collect

• We do not collect analytics or usage tracking data
• We do not collect advertising identifiers
• We do not collect location data
• We do not collect payment information
• We do not collect contacts, photos, or other device data

How We Use Your Information

Your information is used solely to:

• Authenticate your account
• Store and display your goals and community data
• Show your name and membership to other community members
• Diagnose and fix crashes

Data Storage and Third Parties

All data is stored using Google Firebase (Authentication, Firestore, and Crashlytics). Google's privacy policy applies to their handling of this data: https://firebase.google.com/support/privacy

We do not sell, share, or transfer your data to any other third parties.

Data Visibility

• Your email address and display name are visible to members of communities you join.
• Your goals are visible to other members of the same community.
• Crash reports are only accessible by the app developers.

Data Retention and Deletion

Your data is retained as long as your account exists. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from Settings > Delete My Account within the app. Account deletion is permanent and removes your goals, community memberships, and user profile.

Children's Privacy

The app is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
